(@jjarichee)jjari has a bachelors in illustration and animation, experience in concept art and game art.they have always found concept art and character design to be particularly fun and interesting and can now use these experiences, skills and interests in fursuit making!

please read my terms and conditions before you place a commission (request).if you do place a commission, i will assume that you have read and agreed to everything in the terms and conditions.my work is non-refundable, a thorough explanation as to why can be found in the terms and conditions.please only contact me through form or email for a quote or questions. further communication once a project is established will be done through email or telegram.i will respond to quotes/questions on my own terms - so we ask you not to send multiple messages.most questions can be answered by looking through the terms and conditions as well.

pricing

prices vary on complexity of the design.currently i offer heads and mini partials (head+paws+tail).

our base prices are:head: €1000,- and up
mini partial: €1750,- and up

all projects feature the following at a base price:

- heads (lined with neoprene)
- paws with stuffed toebeans (come unlined at a base price)
- neoprene or fleece teeth
- one velcro removable tongue
- felt eyeliner
- handpainted eye mesh
- 3D printed eye bases
- TPU 3D printed headbase

base prices are for a simple design with no excessive/complex markings or details. the base price does not include any add-ons.base price includes 3 fur colors and 3 minky colors.extra fur and minky colors will increase the pricing of the project.elements that change the complexity and thus pricing:amount of colors used, markings, hair(style), length of tail, horns, non-symmetry, unusual species/shapes etcetera.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Love Sick Suits will be referred to as “LSS” in the remainder of the Terms of Service.The person purchasing a service/product from Love Sick Suits will be referred to as “client”, “commissioner”, or “customer”.General Terms Of ServiceThoroughly read the terms of service before commissioning, if you commission me, you agree with the terms or service and confirm you have read them.
Revising, adding or removing terms is within LSS’ right at any time and for any reason.LSS reserves the right to deny or cancel any commission at any point for any reason whatsoever. This includes clients who are rude, harrassing, threatening or otherwise unreasonable.
There will not be worked on any deadline as there might be unplanned changes in the working process. A rough due date may be requested within reason, LSS is not obligated to meet the time span or frame.Projects are made in a separate room where there are no pets, but in a house that has cats. Keep this in mind if you have any sensitivities and allergies.Everything made is handmade, handsewn and might be subject to small errors/flaws due to human error.LSS is a one person business and does not make fursuits full time, so we ask for your understanding in any case.AgeYou have to be 18+ to commission. There will not be exceptions.
In case you are a minor, a parent/legal guardian can purchase a commission in their name.If the age written in the commission data is not correspondent to the client’s actual age, LSS reserves the right to cancel the commission without refund and blacklist the client.ID checks and background checks may be done to confirm the customer’s age.CommunicationLSS provides communication in English or Dutch. English is not our native language.Any communication should be professional and respectful in any way.Communication and updates can be made through Telegram or email.Updates will be sent from our side when progress has been made. You are free to ask for updates if there has been no updates or communication on our end, but we ask that you do not spam us with update requests every day!In case of any delay or setbacks, LSS will communicate this towards the client.Design and styleLSS projects are both sewn with machine and partly handsewn.LSS does not provide fullsuits or any electronic parts yet.LSS works with 3D printed eyebases and hand painted mesh eyes.LSS uses handsculpted foam headbases, no 3D/TPU bases.Any horns, teeth, etcetera will be made with minky or fleece.Color matching will be done together, sometimes it might not be a 100% match as we only have a limited palette to choose from.Only flat colors will be used in the projects.For some projects, parts will have to be simplified/changed slightly to work as a fursuit.The character used must be owned by you. Bought from an artist or your own creation.There cannot be last minute changes made. The design you submit during the start of the commission will be the end result.The character/species/design/colors cannot be changed once work has started on the commission.
Visibility depends on design, we try our best to make the visibility as best as possible, but there will be blind spots in every suit by any maker.Preparing before commissioning
Your character must have an unshaded reference sheet with a front, side and back view. For a partial, there must be details of the front/side/back of the head and neck, top and bottom of the paws and a side of the tail (if symmetrical).If possible, show us a collection of artworks of your characters alongside the reference sheet.PricingPayment must be made in euros. (€).Payment must be made within 72 hours after approval of the project by LSS.Payment can be made through PayPal or bank transfer to our Dutch bank account. (KNAB).We will not send payment ‘requests’, you must transfer the money by yourself.Shipping is not included in the pricing of the commission as this varies, it will be calculated at the end and is to be paid by the customer.PaymentWe take a 50/50 payment plan which must be done within 2 months. 50% upfront and the other 50% the next month.Payment plans are signed and binding documents, extra fees and/or legal steps will be made if a payment plan is not respected.No work will be started and no materials will be purchased by us until the full price or first payment plan is received.Make sure you can actually afford the full price of the commission before you contact us.Making processMeasurements will be asked if needed.A project might be delayed by stock issues regarding certain fur colors. This will be communicated timely.Your reference sheet is our main frame of reference, make sure this has all the right details, colors, placements and everything you want is included. We will ask any extra questions or details if needed.Materials and colors will be discussed before starting any work or buying any of the materials.LSS will provide a color match and this can be discussed with the client.A 2D concept will be made of the head, paws and tail. This will be check and - if needed - revised with the client in question.After the concepts are approved, there will be no major changes made.Ask for any smaller changes or add-ons, we however cannot guarantee these are always possible and they might affect the final pricing and due date.Any WIP images can be used for LSS’ social channels unless the client states upfront that they do not want them to be shared.Once finished, there will be a photoshoot and a few videos taken for promotional purposes.These photos and videos may be used by the client for non-commercial use.ShippingShipping is not included in the pricing of the commission as this varies.We ship from The Netherlands, Europe.The entire shipping fee will be covered by the client, as well as any custom fees that the package will be subject to.Approximate costs vary from 50 to 100 euros inside Europe, and outside of Europe they can vary from 100 to 400 euros.The full and actual value of the fursuit will be declared on the package, insurance and tracking will be included.Average shipping time is 1 to 4 weeks unless specified otherwise.
We are not responsible for loss of the package or any damage.Everything will be as securely and safely packed as possible, but once shipped out this is out of our control sadly.In case of a lost package, we will do our best to help locate it - but some things are outside of our control and are up to the mail carrier.Projects will not be re-made in case of any loss or damage.Warranty and repairs
A warranty of one year is offered after receiving your product.Incidents or damages must be notified to us within this year.Shipping will be fully covered by the client.Included in the warranty: Construction mistakes, holes, popped seams.Not included in the warranty: Stains, mold, fire damage, large tears, accidents or improper care and cleaning of the suit.Any alteration to the suit by someone aside from LSS will break the warranty. This includes adding or removing materials as well as changing anything to the suit.A repair after one year will receive a quote and costs plus shipping will be covered by the client.Small repairs might be fixed on your own, we will happily explain how to make these.In any case, LSS reserves the right to cancel a warranty or deny a warranty/repair for any reason whatsoever.Cancelation and refundsLSS reserves the right to refund or cancel and reject the service for any reason whatsoever, without warning.LSS projects are non-refundable once started.LSS does not owe any client a refund fee or the product in case of cancellation by LSS or the client.LSS reserves the right to deny service (present or in the future) to anyone for any reason whatsoever.Clients may be blacklisted and will be barred from any further services in the future.In case of a cancellation or refund, the client is not entitled to ownership over the materials or product, no matter the progress or state of the commission.A canceled project may still be finished and sold as a pre-made project.Parts or bases (if canceled) may be used for other commissions or projects.Non-refundable*To provide LSS with security and peace of mind while working on projects - we have chosen to make all projects non-refundable.Please keep in mind: LSS is a one-person small business in this choice.We ask for your understanding that we cannot spend time, effort and resources on projects that might end up refunded for whatever reason. Any work started (even quoting and communication) and any progress made cannot be turned out and costs us time, effort and funds.Every project is unique and materials cannot be refunded either in case a project gets canceled.LSS places full trust in our clients and projects and we ask our clients to trust us likewise. We have high and professional standards when it comes to customer service, communication, quality and turnover time, there are no long queues and usually no delays that could be otherwise prevented. We will not take on more projects than we can timely handle unless a situation is out of our control.So we ask you to think over the decision of commission very well, as it is a large project and we understand a fursuit is a big investment. Make sure you have the funds and trust us to make your ideas become reality. :)Additional InformationThe client is responsible to pay attention to (especially early) progress shots to ensure your project is progressing as you want to. If something has to be changed early on to fit your idea/concept/reference sheet, please mention this! It will take longer and be way harder to change things if mentioned later on in the process. There may be additional costs if changes could have been seen/made earlier in the process but were not voiced timely by the client.If you do not like a certain aspect or style of your suit as it progresses, whether it be in concept art or WIP/making. Please tell us! We try to be accommodating as much as possible, so we ask you to be honest in your opinion, even if it might not sound ‘nice’. We won’t take it personally or be annoyed if it is within reason and timely voiced!
LSS does not make copyrighted characters or base suits directly off of other fursuit maker’s style or designs.ContractAnything mentioned in the Terms of Service will be agreed upon by the client by commissioning LSS.
Anything agreed upon by both parties in writing, whether it be Telegram/email etcetera, is a binding contract.In case of a payment plan, this is a legally binding contract and an official, binding invoice will be sent to the client.The payment plan must be completed in the mentioned time frame.Failing to do so will result in extra fees that have to be paid by the client.Failing to adhere to the payment plan or issuing any refund that is not agreed upon - at any point - will result in additional legal action.
